We had an old work bench my father built before he passed. It was very wobbly, so my brother took it apart, re-screwed and glued everything back together. He also stained it a dark color. It looks so good! I almost want to put in the house for a regular table! He used a high gloss polyurethane on top, for easy wipe ups. What a little stain and gloss can do! I feel as if I have a new piece of furniture.
