We just switched all of our plumbing over to PEX. It was a pain to do but I know it will be worth it. Has anyone else done this? PEX is easier to move, more flexible and it is said to last longer (no rusting). It was a bit more expensive then using metal pipes and you had to buy a special tool for the clamps.

I've seen the PEX piping - it sure does look like it would be better. My husband said he was going to buy it when we redo our water lines. It's a lot more flexible and we have some tight spots for the lines. It's cool because it is red and blue - so you know which line you are putting in.
