Has anyone used the magic eraser pads from Mr. Clean?
If you haven't let me tell you it is a wonder and will the same. My kids thought they were Picaso's stepkids and plastered the walls of the apartment we were living in with all kinds of drawings and foolishness. And I literally spent two to three days removing it all and possibly went through eight to ten boxes of this stuff and would refer it to anyone with children, especially. It removes scuff marks, crayon, ink, etc.

I completely second this vote for the Magic Eraser. I have no clue how they work, but work they do. I have very artistic kids as well <wink> and I have been able to get everything off the walls with them - even permanent marker.

WOW. I've used this to get crayon, dirt and other scuff marks off the wall but I had no idea it could even get permanent marker off. That's great to know! And I also HIGHLY recommend this product - especially to parents, but really, to anyone who wants clean walls because they do get dirty just from daily living. The only thing is that it can make you into a sort of freak about your walls, noticing every little speck just because you're used to them being so clean.

I didn't know that it could remove permanent marker either. I had to use this when we were living in an apartment complex and were moving and I literally had to use eight boxes of this stuff to remove the crayon and ink and pencil and scuff marks off the walls. It was a task but it was worth it because it removed 90% of all the markings that they had placed on the walls. I don't know the persons name that came up with the concept but I know it was sent of GOD.

Just don't use them on skin. I know it was dumb, but I had permanant marker on my hand and I couldn't get it off - I used a magic eraser and it came off along with a lot of my skin. I ended up with a 2nd degree burn - it was awful. Awful dumb too!
