    Hi,

Is dry carpet cleaning affect my carpet color? No idea whether carpet remains same after carpet dry cleaning?

    Thank you!

I think it would depend on the type of carpet that you have. I've used it before and it was ok. I really think I prefer to have it done by a professional if I can afford it and the carpet is really dirty. When I used the dry before it was for spot cleaning. I would suggest that you do an area that is out of the way for a test to see how it does though. Better save then sorry later on.

I can not say whether dry carpet cleaning affects carpet color, because I usually use a carpet cleaner. I think the rule of thumb, when you are not sure, is to test a small area. Then you will know if anything bad happens.

    Replacing carpets

I'm at the point I want to just get rid of the carpet, clean up my hardwood floors a bit and put nice rugs down over the top. If I could just get the kids to stop spilling things, they'd be in better shape.

Are you looking to hire a professional dry carpet cleaning business? Or DIY? I know professional companies guarantee it's safe for all carpets. They claim it cleans better than steam water, and spots won't come back.
