Hello. My front porch is 16' long by 5' wide(deep). There are 5 4x4 posts across the front approx. 41/2' apart with two of them framing the steps coming up to the porch. The header seams to be two 2x6x16' sandwiched with plywood then wrapped in vinyl. The porch is a gabled porch. I would like to have just three posts, 6x6 or 4x4, along the front that I intend wrap in cedar. What adjustments would I need to make to the header? Thanks, Jeff
