Are you a fan of track lighting? My husband and I are currently debating whether to install some in the kitchen. He likes it but I'm not convinced.

I like the looks of it, but I don't want to have to get up there and dust all those tracks and fixtures. I've been investigating cove lighting, which might work better for me. I can still have some of the lighting, but I don't have tracks dangling from the ceiling that collect dust and grease.

I'm not a fan of track lighting either and feel the same as you Fryar. I like the sound of the cove lighting though and not having all that cleaning you need to do with the other.

I've never been a big fan of those, also. I think the drop can lighting is nice. Track lighting reminds me of something that should be in a drafter's or engineers office, or something to the sort.
