    Hi Everyone,

I seen an nail gun on one of those home improvement shows on The Discovery Channel. It looks like an orange pneumatic nail gun, but it doesn't have a hose. Dose anyone know what runs that gun. Is it electric or is their small air tank built in. Also do you know the brand?

    Thanks

The cordless nail guns are run by a fuel cell and battery, like a small internal combustion engine. Instead of using air, they use flamable gas to drive the nail. Gas is drained from a disposable canister and injected into a combustion chamber above the piston. A battery creates an electric charge which in turn ignites the gas causing an explosion (small) to drive the piston and fire the nail.

Coordless nailers are more expensive, but may be worth the extra money especially for bigger jobs.
