DW and I were strolling through Lowes last weekend and came across the scratch and dent appliances. We weren't looking for anything in that department, but there sat a dishwasher for $150. The toe-kick was dented but DW didn't care since it's going in our trailer and won't be going into the new house.

The bad part? It's an under counter dishwasher and not only were the cabinets not designed for a dishwasher, but there was no electrical circuit, water supply, or drain. So I got to spend most of my Saturday cutting out one of the lower cabinets and rebuilding it to make a space, then ran a new dedicated circuit to the breaker box, completely re-plumbed the sink drain so I could get the dishwasher Y drain in, and installed a boiler drain in the hot water supply line to get water to the dishwasher.

It's in, it works and DW is happy. I guess that's all that matters.
