There is a river that flows at the back of my house, the backyard basically ends in the river. Do you think it would be a good idea for me to build a deck to do my fishing? What is the best kind of board to use for this?
Sounds like it would be a perfect place for a deck and to do some fishing. I would imagine you would need to get a professional to build the deck and they would know which type of decking material to use and the permits you would have to have. Good luck and enjoy it when it's done.
We stayed in a cabin once in the mountains of Tennessee where you could fish off the deck into the stream out back. It was so much fun to catch, clean, cook and eat our supper every night that we got to stay longer because we were saving on restaurant bills. The kids loved the fishing picnics better than McDonald's.
