Is there anyone here who has a bear claw bath tub? I have always wanted one. Are there any pros or cons you can state about them? I would think a stand alone tub would be easier to install than a conventional tub. Am I wrong?

I grew up taking a bath in one of those every night. It was always hard trying to wash your hair. Of course now a days you can have a separate shower or have one installed with the tub. They are nice to look at and if all you wanted was to soak in one, then they are great.

I love bear claw bath tubs. My parents have one that I enjoy whenever I fly up to see them. It is harder to take a shower in, however; my parents have 3 overlapping curtains to contain the water.

We have one in a second home we have. I love taking a long soak in them, and the guests love the idea of taking a bath in one. For those conditioned to the convenience of a shower, it's not the best bathing facility after a few days and the novelty has worn off.
