The story began in 1923 when Samuel White decided to purchase a hardware store on Grand Avenue in New Haven, Connecticut. Samuel quickly became a well-known entrepreneur in the New Haven area while growing his business. Samuel and his son, Paul, would relocate the hardware business to Legion Avenue in New Haven almost ten years later. Soon after the change, Paul and his wife, Doris decided to convert the business from hardware to plumbing supplies and fixtures. Paul and Doris moved the business, in 1966, to its current location at 582 Boston Post Road in West Haven, Connecticut.

Now three generations later, Steven White, his sister, Michelle Eckhaus, and her husband, Effy, invite you to their West Haven showroom. The expanded showroom boasts a grand selection of products such as faucets, sinks, vanities, medicine cabinets, bathtubs as well as showers. Whites Plumbing Supplies carries a large variety of brands including but not limited to Toto, American Standard, Grohe, Whitehaus, Delta, and more.
